Were I not a UGA fan I would poke fun at Bennett and UGA fans but it really is sad that the dude did what he did, in the face of what would be crippling opposition even into 2022 for almost anyone, and he is the brunt of such vitriol.
And who knows, he may make the Rams roster yet. I know I won't ever second guess him or Kirby Smart again. I will bitch and moan and whine as a fan but if someone told me Stetson Bennett had just completed open heart surgery on a rocket of his own design headed back from a successful mission to Mars I wouldn't doubt the veracity of the story...dude proved to be a winner and about as improbable a story as you could ask for. The final chapter is not written in my opinion. If he overcomes whatever lead to his trouble in LA (and outside of rumors only a few people know) he would make a helluva coach or motivational speaker or both....the story through his leaving the Rams is incredible if one is truthful. I get fans of other teams having fun with it but I doubt many do not really admire what he did at UGA...they may hate it but its admirable if youre being honest....

The backup that was FOURTH string entering the year before. Preseason 2020 depth chart:
-Jamie Newman, who quit like a bitch before the season started
-JT Daniels, who was hurt and not able to play until halfway through the season
-Dwan Mathis
-Stetson Bennett
Stetson damn sure made the most of his time here and just continued to outperform everyone's expectations.

It's pretty simple.
Stetson has heart and is a winner.
Daniels had talent but not much else. Plenty of guys like that out there. Don't want any no heart loser like that repping my Vols.

There are times where he's trolling just to troll.
Other times, he's absolutely serious and is in some kind of trance where he's back in 90's Fulmer Vol dreamland.
