Because bama wasn’t the best team in the west. Auburn was and we beat that arse down for the title. Didn’t give up half a hundred points to Missouri and Didn’t need a miracle vs a bad uga team to get there

You are crushing their dreams. Most of the UGA fans here weren't alive when they last accomplished anything of consequence. They must grasp at anything they can.

Didn’t just beat auburn, we beat Auburn’s arse. Uga was also beat up, so that excuse doesn’t cut it.

Unfortunately for auburn, that first game was irrelevant, and was more than paid back. All it did was gets your hopes up.

That makes no sense. Auburn beating uga didn’t win them the sec and a playoff spot, while uga beating auburn won us the sec and got us a playoff spot.

It was relevant because UGA winning the SECCG got you nothing.
Congrats on almost doing something only to come up short. The only way people will remember UGA playing in the NCG is when they show tua throwing the TD pass for the next decade plus.

Beating auburn us a conference championship and a playoff spot. Those are real tangible things that auburn wanted so badly but didn’t get from their win over uga.

Like I said earlier........keep trying to spin it any way you want. The bottom line is................Gus has accomplished just as much as kirby has. They both have won the SEC. They both have had the lead late in the NCG and lost it. One has had to go through bama every single year. The other hasn't. It is what it is.

Gus had an easier road due to the final because of no playoff and he needed a miracle vs a bad team to make the seccg and having your d get shredded once you get there. All 3 of those factors do nothing but diminish the accomplishment for gus.
