When you (Clemson) are blitzing that many people nearly every down you know you can't man up on the line of scrimmage. One of the LSU fans is saying he was impressed by Clemson's defense. Shouldn't you be impressed by LSU's offense?
Basic defensive strategy. If you can rush 3 and put good pressure on a QB, you rush 3. If not, you definitely rush 4. That's basic football. Clemson's coaches KNEW they couldn't get pressure on the QB unless they rushed about 8 guys each play.
Hats off to the LSU offensive line. Sure Burrow is great. But that offensive line is outstanding as well. It was the key. Clemson was in desperation mode from the very beginning of the game.
