hey, he said it not me...
but back to topic....If Ole Miss does make it to the SECCG and loses to UF and UF goes to the BSCNCG, the Sugar Bowl Comm. would be stupid not to pick OM. If we brought 35k+ to the Cotton, we will certainly bring more to the Sugar bowl. Not to mention breaking weekly alcohol sales record at local bars in a single day.
The main thing that drives bowls is $$$$$$$. The only way i see it going differently is if OM goes with an 8 or 9 win season and UGA is say 11-1.
EDIT: also as far as the whole, SECCG loser rarely goes to the Sugar Bowl.....it depends on if an SEC team goes to the BSCNCG...
2009 UF(NC) - Bama(SB)
2008 LSU(NC) - UGA(SB)
2007 UF(NC) - LSU(SB)
2003 LSU(NC) - UGA(SB)
1998 is the only time the SB didn't pick the SECCG losser.....but then again...it WAS MSU at the time. so who can blame them....

It would be quite funny to see Ole Miss win the NC and then go to the White House with their Rebel Flag to meet an African American President.

i think you got the years mixed up but anyway, according to your reference..
2008 when LSU went to the NCG, UGA went to the SB. LSU played Tenn.
2007 UF Went to NCG, LSU to SB. UF played Ark

Exactly, remember when the Indy bowl wanted a 6 win bama team over a 7 win rebel team. I think the only reason you went to the Cotton bowl last year is b/c LSU lost to Arkansas.

He's good though.
as a capper? there are better options. if you faded northcoast last yr., for the reg. season in cfb (late-phones, power sweep) you did ok.
overall he finished up at 54% or so (+600 maybe)?...maybe he did well in the bowls, idk. but his late phone plays tanked...his newsletter 3* and above didn't fair that great either, if i recall. he's had some decent capping years in the past...and some not so decent.
i do think he produces a great cfb mag. heck, LSU was what a 40-1 dog to win the NC in '03? his mag. was the only one that had LSU as a NC contender that yr., much less winning the SEC West. he's got some good info in his newsletter as well.
there's no doubt he's marketed northcoast very well, and has a very large following. i just had better luck fading last yr., than following.

this is all kids of wrong.
2009- correct. only time the SECCG game loser has made a BCS bowl.
2008-LSU played Tenn in the champ game. Outback IIRC
2007 UF played Ark in the champ game. Ark went to Dallas for bowl season
2003 LSU played in the sugar bowl as it was before the double hosting model. UGA was in the cap 1
It's OK though, your team having never played in the game i wouldn't expect you to know the likely bowl scenarios involved in the game.

The guy won it 3 years out of 10 in Arkansas
Nutt went to Atlanta twice, both by tie breaker, not 3 times.
He tied the West 3 times but only twice did the tie breaker fall in his favor, once thanks to an Alabama probation.

We've already gotten alittle bit of that irony with the Presidential Debates.

Not to make you guys feel too bad, but HDN has to say those things about Ole Piss. If he was at Miss. St. he would say that they were the best team that he has ever had. Don't you guys realize it, he Lies!!! If he couldn't win with Dmac, Felix Jones, Monk and the rest of that team, he won't win with your team. He will screw up. Your only hope is that you have a weak schedule.
