I know UGA's played 2 triple options back to back for 600 yards. So, even taking those out and inserting UGA's average yards for those 2 games, it comes out to like 1600 yards instead of 1961.

First 4 games without all of our starters and the 2 last games were against triple option teams (all run/no pass/little over 600 yds rushing between the two). That's where a lot of the difference comes in.

Bama definitely has the better stats, no doubt. Just don't expect them to be head and shoulders better than UGA as you're insinuating in your post.

1961 - 600 = 1361

Not 1600

can't just subtract 2 entire games and say "thats it"

1961 (12 games)
1361 (10 games)
1361/10= 136.1 ypg
136.1 * 12 = 1633

Good news for Bama is that they have a good rungame.
If they get it going, they will be happy with AJs performance

When alabama feels like they're going to struggle running the ball, they will most definitely pass the ball to set up the run... 2009 LSU Game (Bama and McElroy came out in 4 and 5 wide shot gun in the 1st quarter)... 2010 Auburn Game (McElroy threw on 1st down nearly every time in the 1st half. They knew their beat up OL couldn't handle the DTs)... 2012 BCS NCG (Play-action on early downs killed LSU in the 1st half... HBack/TEs were wide open).

It will not surprise me at all if Alabama throws A TON on early downs in the first half saturday. It's been their M.O. when facing good rush defenses.
