I also didn’t understand why Kirby used one of his timeouts with over 2:00 left when Alabama had the 3rd and inches. Seems like you would save it expecting Alabama to convert, then you have the 2:00 warning and three timeouts and Alabama wouldn’t be able to run any time off unless they convert.
