Diggs was 2nd team All SEC in his first season to be an every day player.

His freshman year he only appeared in 15 games and batted .197 in those games.

In his sophomore season, his first as an every day starter, he began the league season hot. Prior to the Georgia series that year, he only had two league games where he went hitless. After the UGA series, he had 7 games where he went hitless. If I recall correctly, during the middle of the Tennessee series that season he was hitting somewhere between .350 - .360. Teams figured him out and he finished the season hitting below .300

Diggs was preseason 1st team all SEC last year so will have to disagree there, I will side with the leagues coaches voting him that. I believe he was even a projected 1st round pick last season, 2nd for sure before the torn labrum.

He rarely takes bad at bats which is why his K:BB is so good. It was 46:47 that year. I would never say he guesses at the plate, eye vision is excellent.

He was 2nd rd last year borderline 1st, and with compensatory picks could have very well been a technical first.

He's a really good player. I think they should have shut him down for surgery when the injury happened last year because now you have mouth breathers that don't know a thing about baseball crying to bench him 2 weeks after picking up a bat for the first time in 6 months.
