Our son came down with COVID and Flu A which developed pneumonia on top

I have got one or both I dont think pneumonia but this season flu A is miserable.
Wife has something too all three of us down and out this whole week .

Damn that sucks. Hope your son and the rest of yall are alright, that is a lot to handle. I don't feel like it is those type of ailments. So far it just feels like that time of the year.

My wife (NO PICS) keeps up pretty closely with this stuff since our son has an asthma-like condition that can make respiratory illnesses quite scary. She told me that the initial flu shots sent out got the A strain pretty badly wrong, but they started getting information from the southern hemisphere and were able to update it to be more effective.
TLDR: if you got a flu shot later in the fall, you may be alright. We got ours in early October, unfortunately.
