We have been assured that teams will not be penalized for losing a conference championship game. If they start doing that it will be an incentive to end conference championships games. And they generate too much money.
If what they tell us is true, a 10-2 SEC team that loses the SEC championship game should always make the playoffs as the SEC’s 2nd best team.

Freeze will be gone if they lose every game up to and including Vandy. An interim coach will be coaching the Iron Bowl for the Barn.
