Simmons is a Top 3 DL in the league. Why is he fighting washed up players?

Different positions. Ask any defensive coach, Simmons is more valuable on the interior of that Titans line than Hunter is on the edge. I'm a LSU homer, but can I see through my P&G glasses.

Uhm, he's been in the NFL for like 8 years or so? Secondly, he's a linebacker that is used a lot on blitzes on the QB. Simmons is a DT that is double teamed every down and he still gets sacks. But the primary difference is Simmons is used in the middle to push OL back which opens up others to get to the QB. Trying to relate the two is nonsense.
