No don't take his word the guy has been trying to say Fournette is trash since he has been at LSU. He was drafted fourth overall. He had 1000 yards his first season with no passing game. He was hurt half of last year. He leads the AFC in rushing this year. How is that a bust. He has 500 yards less than Derrick Henry and Derrick Henry has been in the league a year longer than him.

I don't really watch entire nfl games like I do college but I do follow the nfl through espn and youtube and I don't think LF is a bust. I will say I expected more from him and Henry both, but they are not bust. Running yards are hard to come by in the nfl. On a side note, Jacobs has surpassed my expectations as a rookie. We'll see if he can keep it up.

I don't think either are busts. Henry is on a mediocre team and he still does well. So does Fournette. You are right it is definitely a passing league now not like the old days, and if it was like the old days Fournette and Henry have the perfect skillsets.

Again, averaging 3.3 YPC and 3.9 YPC in sequential years is certainly bust level. He didn’t finish in the Top 20 of the league for RBs in YPC in either year. He’s saving himself a bit this year, and is having a good season for sure. His 1000 yard seasons prior to this year don’t mean much, it just means they ran him a lot.

Trent Richardson finished with a higher YPC than LF had last year in two different seasons. Tied it in another. Trent Richardson is widely considered one of the biggest RB draft busts of all time.

He injured his hamstring the first game of the season last year. 3.9 yards a carry is not bust level, especially with Bortles as your quarterback. I guess by these standards you can call Mark Ingram a bust as well?

Well, Mark Ingram wasn’t drafted 4th overall. 3.9 YPC was also the lowest output of his career.

He was drafted in the first round. Took him about 6 years to get to 1000 yards. Had 3.9 ypc twice.

He was also in an offense that routinely threw the ball 50 times a game. LF has averaged 20+ carries per game in 2 of his 3 years. Ingram has never averaged that many carries per game.

3.9 ypc first two years though. Isn't that bust level?

No, the 3.9 followed by the 3.3 is what had LF at bust level. Ingram never sniffed a season that low, even with injury.

Only a self-centered Douchebag would say LF wasn't good.

Or maybe he was, and Bama's D was just that much better.

Bama's Dline was lightyears ahead of LSU oline. Tho later in that game, Bama's dline would hook arms to keep the online from getting to the 2nd level.

It also didn't help that Bama knew what LSU was doing. We lined up for a toss dive, bama shifted everyone over. No audibles were made. This is one area where Burrow has helped the run.

What that tweet tells me is that LF had someone else take his English classes at LSU.
