Its all context. Bama lost a metric frickton of upperclassmen that are having strong seasons as rookies. Not to mention a fantastic offensive coordinator. And despite all that, Bama is arguably the 2nd or 3rd best team in the country

It's not shown in the W/L columns, but this Alabama team is different than any since 2007. Close wins all year against some bad teams, consistently. 1 good win over Ole Miss. The A&M loss has to be the worst one in over 10 years.
This reminds me of sunshine pumpers during the Les Miles' years. We would see all these issues with the offense and eke out wins against inferior teams. The rational fans were rightfully concerned while the pumpers told everyone to STFU and that a win was a win. Inevitably, those issues would come back to haunt us and ultimately led to Miles' demise. Next year will be telling if the trend continues for Alabama

Most of that talk was done by Bama fans. Y’all love to create false adversity to give yourselves the illusion of having to overcome them. It’s a weird psychological adaptation to numbing constant success.
