Florida's record this year is all but guaranteed to be worse than any season they ever had under Ron Zook and Foley had no problem firing him year 3 in mid-season. I guarantee you Foley is already talking to agents, lawyers and friends of potential replacements gauging interest.

Zook never pulled an 11-1 season with mediocre talent either, did he?

He made a bowl every year. I'm sorry but you're silly if you think winning every game except the ones that mattered is a good thing.

We got embarrassed by Georgia which stripped us of the East champions and then got blown out by a Big East team in the Sugar Bowl. That wipes out 11 - 2 pretty quickly.

If you don't make a bowl at Georgia, Florida, LSU, Auburn, Alabama or South Carolina, there's a good chance you're gone.

Nope. He also never took an 11-1 team to a bowl game and got blown out by a Big East team to cap the year either.

I wouldn't say UF has "mediocre talent". Their QB play has sucked since Tebow graduated. Let me drop a few names of high school QB's that have left the state of Florida since UF's last national championship

Aaron Murray
Denard Robinson
Teddy Bridgewater
Geno Smith
Connor Shaw

But they did manage to land top recruits like Jeff Driskel who sucks, Jacoby Brissett who must suck worse than Driskel because he couldn't beat him out and Jordan Reed and Tre Burton who were turned into tight ends.

he wouldn't be the first coach to be fired a year after winning 10 plus games.

bama fired shula one year after he won 10 games and his record was better than muschamps this year.

Please not Les, the guy gives me a heartattack every time I watch a game with him. He has a lot in common with my handle.

I actually have a lot of respect for Les Miles and I enjoy the way he coaches; I think he carries himself well but I...the guy literally just. He scares me man. That win against Meyer the last year on that bizarre kick fake. I was like: IF he was coaching at Florida, that would have failed miserably.

Bwahaha, no I mean I do respect him as a man and his enjoyment of BBQ, but his coaching is just bizarre. I watched the Clemson game last year and I was baffled. Literally baffled.

The guy wins though, and LSU once again is going to a bowl...whereas a certain East team has to rely on a miracle to do so.

And man, I have this ugly feeling that we're going to drop the GSU game.

Every defensive category has been doubled since I think the LSU game. If we can't score (Vandy let up on us at the end of the game), we can't win.

Don't forget we almost lost to Furman two years ago and needed a blocked punt to avoid overtime with Louisiana Lafayette last year. It's entirely feasible.

You're right. The admin is on his side, and that isn't just speculation on my part. We're getting a new OC next year, but Muschamp will be here.

Nay sayers have reading skills at third grade level. AD speak is one thing...he only had to say that he supported Mushchamp yada yada. No, the AD at UF...who has been around longer as AD than any school in the SEC took it MUCH higher...1,000 X higher actually. The Prez of UF, Bernie Machen also gave a vote of confidence. Zook did not have that and had an incident with frat house which did him in. Machin wanted Meyer.

This was done with recruiting in mind and not because they plan to do something else. Now...if we lost to Ga Southern & the girls school by 77 points...? That's different. Aint gonna happen.

Boom will be around in 2014 and the team will be loaded. Keep this in mind: UF only had FIVE players who started all nine games this year! Its been beyond belief.

He's not getting fired (this year)...for starters, who would you replace him with? The hot commodities this year are Sumlin, Pinkel, Briles, and the Fresno State and NIU coaches. I could maybe see Sumlin if he decided he'd had enough in the West and wanted to try to dominate the East but other than that, I wouldn't take any of those other coaches over Muschamp without at least giving him another less-injury ridden year to see what he can do.

I'm honestly curious...

What makes you say we'll be loaded next year? Just focus on the offensive side of the ball. I'm not worried about the defense much.
