I think the jury is still out on Muschamp.
It's hard to assess a first year head coach when he is forced to play in the toughest conference in the country with a depeleted roster of 62-63 scholarship players, many of which were recruiting busts on the offensive side of the ball.
He did that playing 5 teams that finished #1-#5 in total defense in the country in FSU, LSU, Alabama, UGA, and USCe.
Every game they played was competitive except for Alabama and LSU. shite, they held FSU to less than 100 yards of offense. He went out in his first off season and made constructive changes to get better.
The recruiting has been solid. He gets his 3 year shot like any other coach. The roster is back up close to the scholarship limit, Florida is looking at back to back top classes, and really, the only question left is if he can be a good game day coach.
We heard all of this same hate spewing when UF hired Meyer. And Alabama fans heard it about Saban too. Time will tell.
When I say UF is going to blow this year, it's all relative. 8-4 for UF is blowing. For a lot of other teams in the country, and hell, even in the SEC, that would be a happy season.

Aggressor..please remove head from arse. Im glad you have everything figured out for UF...you better worry about that awful team of yours pal.
Talk about collapses? Geez. Boom is going to be fine starting this year....he has only been HC for a year...look at Chizik and Saban their first years at Bama/AU....then look at second year.

The SECr actually thinks UF fans are HAPPY when we say 8-4 will be a good season for UF?
