Jeez...so much medical misinformation. There is no such thing as "stomach flu." The influenza A and B viruses are both respiratory viruses which can cause systemic symptoms like muscle aches & fever as well
and streptococcus is a bacteria that has nothing to do with the influenza virus

Not that it matters becuase both are treated the same and the symptoms are the same but they quit testing because according to Doctors if you have the flu now more than likely it is the swine flu; the original strand is not as active this time of the year. Atleast this is what they are telling us nurses at the hospital.
