Um, not this season. They need to recruit some SEC caliber backs. If they can find a power back or two to run against SEC defenses, next year will be much different for them in my opinion.

Most posters thought I was trolling when I said UF was going to be really bad.
I made several post about the UF talent level being at a two decade low.
Urban didn't recruit well after the 07 class. Everyone else on here pointed out the recruiting rankings etc.
UF has middle of the pack talent right now. Its going to take Boom and Charlie two classes before UF is truly competitive with the top teams.
With the way FSU is buying players right now its going to be pretty tough.
UF will make a bowl, but will go 3-5 in SEC play.
Wins against UT, UK, and Vandy.
Vandy game will be a good one.

well this year they have been as high as #12... so I guess you can't put too much stock in midseason rankings

Next year's SEC season should be fun. I just hope TAMU doesn't drop out of the SEC and go independent.
