21 points at home is not insurmountable for an offense who even has a good -- no -- mediocre Quarterback.

It is when you’re giving up 7.4 yards a rush.

This is the biggest issue for me. The players at UF aren't the caliber we are all used to but 7.4 per rush is a bit ridiculous.

I think a lot of that is on the new coaches.

It doesn't mean they won't get better, but the transition is painful right now.

Is that really what you’re going to roll with when our defense left a few INTs (and likely points) on the board and at least one deep drive on offense was stifled by a turnover by Wilson?

Me: Our QB is to blame.

Belle: AND WHAT ABOUT THE INTERCEPTIONS THAT WERE DROPPED.

Oh, you mean by the guy I constantly bashed in my previous post? The guy I've been wanting benched since last year, who should have transferred because only idiots think he will ever be a Quarterback?

Florida had more first downs than Kentucky with a broken Quarterback.

You guys won by a single possession outside of Franks doing his Baby Giraffe idiocy on the final play, it's not like we were beaten by 20.

Do you think the outcome of the game is anything similar if Will Grier is throwing instead of Feleipe Franks? Do you think Grier might do better than 44.7% of his passes? Maybe not waste every single first down by throwing into coverage?

You guys won, but calm down, it wasn't like we were playing out of our minds, baw.

To be fair we didn't need first downs. We didn't run a single play in the redzone. Gators were generous with the chunk yardage.

If he can do it at Mississippi State-he should be able to do so at Florida. He built State's program with mostly 2 and 3 star players.

Chunk yardage, redzone and first downs don't mean anything if all you get out of it is 21 points.

More than a surmountable number if we had a decent Quarterback.

The only good news is it's one more nail in the Team Franks coffin so that he doesn't come back next year and people with actual futures at Quarterback can start taking snaps.

Good luck the rest of the way. You'll likely get your wish this season.

Im not in on the beef with Belle. My only point was first downs are a horrible measure when KY went 9-13 on third down and had so many long plays.

I agree with that, but it's not our defense that lost that game. With even a decent Quarterback I'm pretty sure we could have squeezed out a single touchdown.

It's just an example that if a piece of dogshit Quarterback like Franks can get 24 first downs, if we have an actual good Quarterback then we could actually do what the offense is born to do -- score points.

I'm not saying that we did better, I'm just saying it's not like we didn't move the ball even with a bad QB.

Your DEFENSE gave up 303 rushing yardssss. How is it not at the fault of your defense? Franks is trash, your defense is trash, both lines are trash, we played mediocre and still beat you at your house. That must mean one thing...FLORIDA IS TRASH

Mullen and his coaches are to blame . They had enough talent to win that game .

I blame the quarterback for trying to show boat. Ultimately he is the man that makes the final decision to throw, run, handoff, etc..... not the coach the quarterback makes that choice for the team

Exactly. Even when people talk about our defense, it's sort of like: Well, yeah, the defense didn't look the part, but...it was 21 points at home.

We shouldn't have to hold every single team we play to two touchdowns so our piece of shite Quarterback doesn't have to do his job. He's a nice guy, but he is asswater at QB and we will never be successful if we can't find a result at that position. 21 is more than reasonable for a functioning offense to overcome.
