Sorry how old are people on this site? Did anyone even see those Georgia wins before 1990? I was an 80s baby. All I can remember is kicking the shite out of Georgia lol.
Yep. You would be a baby, then. Are you one of those millenials that think nobody over the age of 30 exists?
Crap, you talk about us not seeing Georgia win a title, yet if you were born in the 80's you probably don't remember most of Florida's as you were not even in school.
quote:Then maybe you should think all the way back to 2017 and 2018? That might stir up a few memories.
All I can remember is kicking the shite out of Georgia lol.

We're just so sad over our top ten finish with a McElwain roster.
Don't look now but that roster is currently getting worse, not better.

It's not like we got blown out with a coach who has two and a half years (now three) at the school, has his own roster.
But you said Kirby was only having success because he had Richt's players. Now you are saying he is having success because he has had time to build his own roster with his players? I am so confused.
Which is it? is it an advantage to have your own players, or to have the previous coaches players?

Presently you just lost the Sugar Bowl to a big 12 also-ran team.
Actually, presently we have won the last two SEC East titles, one SEC Championship, played for the National Championship, and, oh yeah, beat Florida by a combined score of 78-24 the last two years.

Trust me, he is dense. he will claim you never answered him...or he will claim you said titles don't matter every time he sees you now. Just call him sock boy. He'll leave you alone.

Weird, do you think 2018 was a step back or a step forward?
Do you think that Georgia would have beaten any of the four Playoff Teams this year like they did in 2017? Hmmmm.
Weird how Georgia 2017 with a Richt roster is a title contender but Kirby with his own roster ends the season getting the dogshit kicked out of him by a pretty middling Texas team who lost to Maryland lol (5 - 7 Maryland).
What do you think changed?

We followed up “11-1 with a close loss to bama” with “11-1 with a close loss to a better bama”, and that’s despite losing all of those richt guys you claimed were solely responsible for our “11-1 with a close loss to bama”.
Uga was probably the 3rd best team last year, ahead of ou and notre dame. What really changed was when we played bama.

No, that’s history. Presently you just lost.

Recent history as of 2 years ago it is. That’s different than bragging about 1980 or 2008.
Presently, we came very close to repeating as sec champ and playoff participant.

No. That’s history. Presently
To date UF's 2019 class has lost two players to transfers, two who failed to qualify and one who can't get to the US in what was the 9th ranked 247 class.
The gators current 2020 class sits at #9 in the 247 composite with 17 commitments and a 89.71 player average which is good for 6th in player average in the SEC. UF is quickly closing the talent gap with the top of the league

And they've been reduced to yucking it up over one of our backups having a season-ending injury. In dey head.

Then djsdownsyndrome follows up with regular season wins after you called them out for caring more about the regular season than postseason results.
Championships really don't matter when you're not old enough to remember Georgia's last.

djsdawg REALLY doesn't like when you bring up the final polls for the 2018 season.

No one yucked it up over one of your backups having a season ending injury. We are simply documenting the offseason Mullen and UF are having. You guys seem to have real problem with it because you keep posting in the thread saying how great Mullen is, how bad Kirby is and how UF is going to whip UGA this year.

BTW...saw you guys missed on your third RB for this class, 2020 4* RB Sam Adams committed to Washington. Looks like Knox and Mullen continue to close the gap.

I think our 2018 team was as good as our 2017. But you didn't answer my question. Is it an advantage to have the previous coaches players or your own. You don't seem to know since you claime Kirby's succes was due to having Richt's players, and now you are claiming Kirby has the advantage on Mullen because he has had time to get his own players.
Seems odd.
quote:Definitely. Would have beaten Notre Dame very easily and also would have beaten Oklahoma.
Do you think that Georgia would have beaten any of the four Playoff Teams this year like they did in 2017? Hmmmm.
Now. I've answered your question...you answer mine.

Don't bother. Sock boy is going to run with a narrative even when he knows it is false. If he can divert attention to what is going on at Florida he will.

So much for not posting in this thread again like you said. The melt...is on.
