BTW he wasn't a Urban recruit.

True. but Urban named him captain of the team. Urban's idea of leadership and mine seem to be different.

Never said he was. I heard Zook signed this criminal. But Urban made him team capt and looked the other way letting him play after arrests. He has blood on his hands for not trying to rein this guy in

They made Tebow room with the guy. What is it with UF making decent players room with thugs. Is this their way of trying to convert the thugs. Don’t they know that the reverse can happen as well?

Urban also let this guy continue to play after felony arrests. Just like he did with Hernandez. The thugs were running Urbans team and he was fine with that. Both went on to murder charges. Who knows? If he had cared even a little about these guys he might have been able to change their lives?

But Meyer did make him a team captain the same season that he later got arrested.

But Meyer did put Joiner in with Tebow as roomates - Tebow, who's tears reportedly could circumcise little third-world babies, or something like that as it was reported. So Urban could have been trying to legitimately save Joiner.

Was it Joiner who was always kissing Tebow during football games? Maybe rooming them together had the opposite effect....

You have got to be kidding! UF has had worse seasons? If so, if I was a Gator I’d be too embarrassed to admit that

Nothing that is happened this offseason will impact the football team this year or that UF is a better university than UGA.

That's only because they moved the main signing day to during the season.

Have you ever seen Athens and UGA? No one who has would ever make such a stupid comment.

Really? Seems like all these transfers and decommittments would have an effect to me. I can see UF getting beaten by teams that normally aren’t expected to break even each year. Really bad press too - Not too many mamas want their sons going to a place that coddles murders and thugs.
All Old Dans smack talk is doing is adding even more incentive to kick Gator butts all the way to the St Johns. A word of warning. It doesn’t pay to rile up Georgia! We can take it to new levels if properly motivated.

Oh I agree, but he's writing all that stuff off so I was just letting him know that even if you forget all that stuff, the Gators are still having an awful off season.

I love that Mullen still finds time to throw smack at UGA despite all the chaos going on at UF. As a UGA fan I’m sure you have great memories of what happens when a coach or player has insulted Georgia. We are going to be gunning for Fla. this season. It’s going to be historic!

Athens is a better city than Gainesville. Far too many fricking hippies.

UF is a better University in most measures. UGA might be a nicer campus but there is more to a University than that.

You may have a different opinion but to the things that matter for a university UF is better than UGA.

FYI Georgia has excellent academics. One of the best state u’s in the country. Hard to get in and even harder to stay in.

From an academic standpoint (Which I think is what you are talking about) this is true. Georgia is doing better, but Florida is still better academically.

Undisciplined thugs and past/future murders roaming the rundown campus and streets in Hogtown are not things that make a great university.

They have a great medical school. That’s the only thing I will concede to them.

FYI Mullen IS the justice system when it comes to deciding whether UF will allow players who exhibit thug behavior to continue playing. He is a VERY forgiving fellow

Yeah I’m sure you’ve been waiting for UGA to “take it to new levels” for damn near 40 years.
