1. Florida fans are bad fans for not going to support their team in a BCS BOWL
I believe there are 2 possible reasons for this (maybe a mix of both)
1) They're spoiled from all their success over the 3 years prior.
2) They're all bandwagon fans that used to be Miami fans in the '80s but became UF fan started dominating under Spurrier and their dominance this decade.

It is not like they just started filling their stadium up this year or anything.

Are you talking about UF or Miami?

These have been discussed.
It's obviously at least a little of both of these.
You have to remember that UF has 50,000 students and 500,000 boosters.
Absolutely unacceptable to not sell out your 19,000 ticket allotment.

I'm picking Florida to win. Tebow has too much swag to lose to those mother frickers.

Even in Alabama's depression to missing a trip to Miami last year, we still bought up all our allotted tickets, and most of Utah's.

someone already said it in this thread, we didn't want the Sugar Bowl, we wanted Pasadena, why go somewhere you don't wanna be? tickets will sell out soon enough anyways
luckily, our team is focused and practicing hard and our seniors are determined to go out on a good note

Also has to do with the fact that Alabama's fanbase travels twice as good as Florida's fanbase.

2004. Spurlock was supposed to lead us to another 8-9 win season after Eli left. We then went 4-8. The best record we would have for 3 more years.

I went to the Sugar Bowl last year. the atmosphere in that dome was terrible. i dont expect it to be much different this year.

Serious question - wasn't the atmosphere pretty good for the opposing fans?
I mean it was a bowl Bama fans were somewhat disappointed to be in... and they played like Notre Dame in a bowl game

That was Alabama's first BCS bowl since the 2000 Orange Bowl, and first New Year's Day bowl since the 2006 Cotton Bowl. But still. It's the Sugar Bowl. There is so much history in that building. Much of Alabama's history unfolded there, but Florida won its first title there. I would have thought fans would travel to a site like that.

the utah fans were enjoying it for sure, but there werent enough of them to make for an electric atmosphere. it felt like a 1-AA game in a really big stadium.
