By the time Ole Miss is finished renovating, we will already be working on another small renovation. I would rather have Ole Miss's stadium after it's finished. Just a nice bowl with overhangs to keep the noise in. Good stadium for a small school. They will have a good atmosphere for the first time ever. Our stands are way too far from the field, but it is going to be really nice.

Awesome. We're gonna have two massive jumbotrons in stereo. Crank up the volume and cowbells, and Beltone is gonna be making bank over everybody losing their hearing.

If you're smart, yes, you should be working on another expansion by 2016-2017. Waiting list are for power houses and schools who should have already expanded

So both schools should have a newly renovated horse shoe stadium in 2014.

I would luuuuuuuuuuuuv to make a bet with you on this.

Unless they break ground on this project TODAY, they're not getting it done by 2014.

We're probably not breaking ground until 2014 or 2015. I think Bjork said that we would raise the money for VHS expansion soon, but wouldn't break ground until the construction of the new arena was finished, which they will break ground on soon.

You're confusing renovation and expansion. We will renovate VHS before we expand it

We did, like, six months ago when it was announced.

That stadium is just as much of a pipe dream as our 80,000 seat phase two stadium. You can't expand to this till you start getting asses in the seat at your current stadium.

Agreed. There's no telling when the addition will happen, no matter what Ole Miss fans say. There has to be some major changes for it to make sense. Those changes very well could happen quickly. They also might not happen quick enough.

This expansion is a building block to future expansions...going to include all underground/footing work for phases 2 and 3.

Stricklin said in the press conference today that the endzone is designed for another 22 suites and a 5000 seat upper deck as need arises.
