You see, we were talking about the SEC standings, then I brought up final overall standings because they include five other games that the SEC standings dont account for. Then you guys started responding about the final overall standings clearly indicating that the thread had changed to a new discussion about a more relevant metric.
Thus, 11-2>10-3.

It's funny, Bob, because you are arguing a point that LSU doesn't really care about other than the fact that you are annoying.
LSU wants to beat Alabama, win the SEC, finish #1. They don't give a shite about being #5 in the season ending polls. You wear it as a badge of a true champion.

Is A&M that scared that its going to be UT and Oklahoma all over again for them? Jeez, your team had a great season and appears to be poised to have another one. Why revise history? So you finished third last year; who cares? In this league, if you're not first, you're last so it really doesn't matter. LSU has won one less game than BAMA over the last three years and people on this board still talk about the "Decline." Why? Because for all those wins, there's no National Championships to show for them. JFF got a nice shiny trophy last year. Good for him. But until your TEAM brings a title to College Station (SEC or National), shut up and accept your place in the world.. . Sixth.
