In what way are they completely trumping us? I really want to know. My guess is you have no clue what you are talking about and are just basing it off of their football record in the past and their name. It has nothing to do with money obviously.

And when in black and white, there's more money coming into the University of Arkansas than at Florida State. Really, can you please get back to me? I'd love to hear this dumbass response you have to give.

What's funny is I said SunHog's post was dumb. Arkansas would be fools to ever threaten the gravy train that is the SEC. But you can't back up one thing you've said. Then I can go and pull out actual dollar amounts and the fact that Arkansas would crush Florida State with their wallet; yet I'm high by saying they are the only team in the region that could take our place in the SEC. I actually said FSU would probably be a decent replacement, yet you think they are the greatest university in the country. And based on what? You haven't given up one example of what makes Florida State completely trump Arkansas. And even if you did come up with a single reference, it still wouldn't make them a grand slam over Arkansas. I get that You don't like Arkansas. I completely understand that. But don't make comments when you don't have a fricking clue in the world what you are saying.

If FSU was in the SEC and was coming off 2 good years like you are, they would be pulling down more money than Arkansas is right now. This shite has really gone to y'alls heads and totally removed you from any semblance of reality. It's like talking to a teenager who thinks they know everything about the world.

You are literally too stupid to have a conversation with. When I say dumb things, it's used to piss off this board. When you do it, you have no sense and really believe what you are saying. But thanks for trying. FSU would be a good addition, but we aren't going anywhere and the SEC knows that. Only shortsided retards like yourself look at one aspect of a university and base your decision off of that.

You just explained how you are. Our endowment was ahead of them by 200 million in 2009!!!!! That's before our 2 great years in football you fricking delusional retard. Our football has nothing to do with it. We have more money. We have more coming in, we pay more out and we put more money into our school. It's not an argument. You are an idiot. You will never grasp the concept that our university is worth a lot more money.
I don't know who you people are calling delusional. I'm looking at numbers. Shear fricking numbers. I understand that the name FSU carries more weight on a football field. That is all you guys are looking at and it's obvious. And I'm not here trying to say Arkansas is just miles ahead of FSU either. We aren't. But obviously we fit in perfect with the SEC today. There's not just a million schools out there that would be better replacements and that's my argument.

There aren't a million schools out there to begin with, but there are quite a few schools that would be better in the SEC than Arkansas.

I can't believe this thread is still going on. It's utterly absurd. I know that in the minds of some of the people from Arkansas, they are a really big deal. I know that three years of being third in the SEC make them feel like they've hit the big league. I know they are really excited that all of the money they made from Wal-Mart has given them the chance to finally pay for the football stuff they've always wanted, and this is reflected in the revenues that the school has reported in the past two years.
You can take an a-hole out of Arkansas but you can't take Arkansas out of the a-hole.

SunHog is the only poster who feels that way obviously. He got ostracized by Arkansas fans as well. I make comments all the time that are just to flame and piss people off. But usually it's very obvious. I'm about as subtle as dynamite when I flame. But some of these LSU fans have no idea what they are saying. If they are just trying to flame then I understand but I don't think that is the case.

Explain to me why this matters. This is like the Texas people who say they are above the SEC due to academics. It's a smoke screen argument and doesn't really hold all that much weight. Your line of reasoning means that a school like Stanford would be worth a lot more than Arkansas (geography issues aside) and I wouldn't agree with that either.
If you want to get real about it, Arkansas probably does have a little more going for it re: value to the SEC than FSU because we already have a team in the state of Florida, and footprint is a big thing right now. But program to program, Florida State would be elevated by joining the SEC and would be worth more to the league in terms of exposure and national recognition. When FSU is on they are a National program. Arkansas just isn't.

Florida State because they are a signifigantly better program than Arkansas
Virginia Tech and North Carolina State because those states have much bigger populations for us to sell the SEC Network into than Arkansas
