I know Freshwater seems to be the target, but I wouldn't write off Lance Liepold at Kansas. NIL from higher profile programs have raided his roster, I still think he can coach. Staying in the Big12, Chris Klieman does a fantastic job with what he has to work with at K-State. As for the rest of the coaches in that dumpster fire, hard pass.

Vrabel should be the main target if they’re smart. Why?

1) he’s available
2) he’s free aka no buyout clause
3) alpha male who will demand respect and build discipline and toughness
4) likely to be a good recruiter as he’s not a dork like Brian Kelly, Dan Mullen types
5) good resume. Won in the NFL and ended the New England Patriots Dynasty in foxsborough

Easy work
