A dislocated hip is not a common injury. By any means. You can argue that Saban should have pulled him before, but that was a freak injury.

With Tua's ankle doing well, getting him a 2-minute drill rep wasn't a bad idea. Wouldn't have been surprised to see him open the second half offense either and run a series before getting pulled. He missed ~3 weeks of practice and the more he plays the more he gets back in rhythm and builds confidence in his ankle.
He simply has the worst luck of any QB I've seen on getting his ankles and knees rolled up when scrambling. Tua is Tua, but would love to see him give up on a play sometimes a bit earlier and throw it away to avoid those contacts.

I seriously hope this young man recovers and returns to 110% . No ones fault . If he had fell an inch one way or the other it wouldn’t have happened. If he returns to college next year, I hopes he wins the Heisman!

I don't blame Saban for Tua's injury. It's football.
