Neither ever did anything in the Big 12. Neither have done anything in the SEC, which you seem to imply is because they're in the SEC, which has nothing to do with it. Their history has been entirely consistent in both leagues, if not identical.

Who's speaking out both sides of their mouth here?

being an average program here or there is one thing.

winning like 8 out of 11 conference titles is something else.

a better comp is Arkansas, who was a bigger fish in the SWC pond and hasn’t replicated that in the SEC. Oklahoma is a better program than Arkansas of course but you’re going to be a rich man’s version of that.

You have no natural recruiting base and nothing unique to sell Texas recruits like you did in the past. Good program and i’m sure you’ll have your moments but you’re now out of your pond and into the ocean.

Your modern history is that you fold when you play the real teams and now you’ve got them on your regular season schedule rather than getting to wait until the postseason to play someone.
