You think? Really??? Lol

Based on the OP, you could argue that ESPN thinks so as well.

Sneezy - we should be beating 3/4 of this conference regularly at the absolute MINIMUM. We have the money, fans, facilities, and Fisher has been a flat failure so far with the exception of one year.

One stinking year. So frustrated is an understatement.

Y’all certainly have the arrogance. But unfortunately arrogance doesn’t guarantee wins. Players are being bought and paid for but even that big chunk of change isn’t enough to keep some of them at this perverted school

Agreed. Money isn't everything, but we have the talent level to be T3 every single year. We have the fan support. We deserve more than the mediocre results we've been getting.

No sane A&M fan will say this program hasn't MASSIVELY underachieved.

Any team “could” be winning but you don’t and never will. Texas schools just aren’t built with the proper leadership
to understand how success happens

Texas is one of only 12 schools to win a national championship in football since 2000.

Baylor won a national championship in men's basketball 2 years ago.

TCU played in the national championship in football last season.

Texas schools know plenty about having success. Not all of us are A&M

So, ESPN, the far and away leader with a virtual monopoly in sports coverage, overrates a bunch of teams and calls out said teams for being overrated.

Jimbo is an ace recruiter, but at some point you have to come to the realization that the players aren't being developed properly. They will jump up from time to time and beat a good opponent, but just relying on brute talent doesn't translate to consistent success.

ETA we saw the same thing with Orgeron. When Kelly arrived there were people in the athletic department who didn't know what their own job description was.

Your main revenue producing sport has been a total shite show since after the 2005 season. That’s going on 2 decades where you guys can’t even compete in the Big 12. You’ve had 1 - 10 win season since winning conference in 09 and your last 3 HCs have all had losing records at some point. Now you don’t think you have leadership issues with all that Texas money??????
You guys are in for a serious rude awakening just like your little brother if you don’t think you’ll get stomped on by the SEC. What is it that makes you think things will suddenly change? Aggies thought so and look what the outcome has been.

mediocre results

In Aggie land 5&7 is mediocre??? Do you want to know what that would be like in Baton Rouge. We don’t tolerate total complete failure. You’re not close to being mediocre bro

Ed O put together the most magical and greatest season in college football history and less than 2 years later most fans wanted his head on a platter. Losing to the degree of aTm is very much unacceptable at LSU. We simply have higher standards I guess we can all agree

Last year was total and utter failure. The ONLY reason Fisher is still employed is because of his contract. We forced an OC on him for the first time ever.

His days are numbered.

You’re one of the few Aggies that doesn’t want Dumbo in charge but there are still plenty fans here that take up for him and I can’t understand it.

Why does A&M “deserve” more? Do they deserve more than Arkansas, Vandy, SC, etc? Their players all sweat and work hard too. And I haven’t seen any evidence that they bought a top recruiting class or participate in homoerotic routines on the field or in the stands.
Why do the Aggies deserve more? You just offered a prime example of A&M arrogance. “We are SO rich! We can buy what ever we want.” “We DESERVE it.”
Funny thing. I saw that debt load y’all are carrying and if y’all were as rich as y’all pretend to be you wouldn’t be in such deep debt. A&M is living way beyond their means while acting like they are the richest kids on the block. They don’t deserve anything. Success is earned - not bought. And certainly not bought on credit.

We deserve more from Fisher. The fact is that the football coach and program are simply not producing. Does that help?

I'm not going to deny that it's been one of the worst periods in Texas football history. They've also played for a national championship in that time. So, if that's a "total shite show" then there are A LOT of teams doing much worse in the same time period

Again - that's all stuff that Texas fans know. But no, I don't think there's issues with leadership. In fact, I think the AD and Sark have done a pretty good job navigating that aspect, which I admit was at one point very toxic.

Uh... in the aggies' first season they went 11-2 and finished in the national top 10?

If you're talking about since then, I refer to you my prior post: not all of us are Texas a&m (thank God)

How? Texas a&m started preseason No. 6 in each of the last two seasons and finished unranked in each of the last two seasons.

Meanwhile, Texas finished ahead of their preseason standing last season...?

Some of y'all clearly let the media do the thinking for you
