Just about every single computer ranking that I have seen started with Arkansas really low.. and they are moving up fast, but it is a weighted system.. assuming the teams that normally finish near the top will continue to do so.. and vice versa.
When you have a team make a huge jump one year, it will take several weeks to show up correctly. They could lose this week and move up the rankings..
These rankings are helpful for some teams.. and not so much for others.. until more games are played.
