Many LSU Alums/Fans are more concerned with the overall football program and not just single game wins or one winning season.

Because we're not "Blind Cheerleading MA's", we can see the bigger picture and are perfectly willing to sacrifice one freaking season if it brings about the desired result.

It's not impossible. LSU has played them tough most years. Auburn, of course, beat them last year.

UGA and Bama will be virtual locks when the picks come out to win the division. But there are some good reasons to think neither will make it. Don't get me wrong, I think both will. But SC has a much easier conference schedule than UGA and gets UGA at home.

Bama is breaking in a new starter at QB and also replaces almost their whole secondary. On most teams, that's not a harbinger for success. I do realize Bama is different. But you throw in the turnover on the coaching staff and things might not be as seamless as in past years.
