I agree. Getting the media involved and issuing press releases with selected offensive information is overkill. The PR effort is because the Ad knew they'd be looked at as Dean Wormer unless they told their side of the story, and twisted it a little. I don't believe Alden wants them gone - probably more like he wants them contained. But letting this play out in the media is the last thing Alden really wants. No one is going to come out a winner. This needs to be resolved fast and quiet.
