Just stating the obvious. We are all guilty of inflamatory remarks regarding a competing program/s from time to time.

Yes, the rest of the country watches SEC football. They have to play us in OOC games every year. We dominate the bowl scene every year. And if they watch the national championship, which I would say pretty much all real college football fans do if for no other reason but to cheer against us, then they see us there too.
Add to that our contracts with CBS and ESPN and you have SEC football all over your tv in every region. So whether or not they LIKE to watch us irrelevant, but they damn sure are watching us.

Actually you are wrong. It started as a piece on Cam Newton. They thought they had one of the major players involved in the saga ready to go on camera. At the last moment they backed out because, surprise surprise someone wanted money for their story.
This is nothing more than a plan A failed, so lets go to plan B story.
I do find it pretty comical that those who are so angered that Cecil asked for money and are determined to bring this story to light (cough cough John Bond Scott Moore), would ask for money for their story.
Let's just be honest, it's not about the money. Everyone involved wants to be paid something. This is all about getting jilted at the alter, and watching that person go off and have a great life with someone else.
