Helton and several other really hated Delmonico as well. His first major donation did not come until after Delmonico got the axe.
The renovations have and will continue to improve Tennessee's standings amongst facilities. As for support, I remember Tennessee having plenty of support during my time there in the late 90's and early '00's when they had a good run with Chris Burke and crew. IMO, the Serrano buzz will put some in the stands, but winning will ultimately be what puts butts in the stands.
