I picked AU to win by 10. I am excited by the improved play of the O-Line. I am still worried about the middle of the D-Line and our LB's. I am sure it will improve with each game and maturing.

Having MSU 3rd and long several times and letting them get first downs is a concern. I am stoked about our Special Teams (what has won the last two games imo) and Parkey is the real deal. Overall I am excited by the tenacity of this young team and their ability to grind it out.

We blew the pooch on this game on our last offensive series. We had a 7 point lead and the ball with not much time left. Went 3 and out on three questionable play calls. We had been throwing the ball pretty well and should have just went down and scored and ended up. We played a little tubberville ball and tried to hold on. i really dislike the play calling on that last series.

Our defense was tired and all we needed was one or two first downs and it was over

I agree. To me, and don't want my fellow Aubs getting offended, that was not one of Malzahns best games as an OC. We really needed a big time drive right there, to put the game away and not leave it to a 1" review.

The screen to Lutzenkirchen was horrible.

Malzahn's coached better games, for sure. But had we lost that game, it wouldn't have been the offenses fault. They put enough points up. I think we've gotten spoiled on the offense bailing out the defense for so long that it is just expected at this point.

Agree with all of this...

The corners played decent yesterday. Mcneal played very well Craig Sanders made some great plays too on the end.

We really need two Tackles that want to play. Carter is hurting us in there bad.

Our D definitely would deserve the majority of that blame. However, with 3 min left our offense needed to execute and eat up that clock in that situation.
Lanier is right it looked like the CTT days of get a lead and hope the D can win it.

Was a tough physical game though. I give props to MSU defense hitting hard and Relf is a tough kid. Ballard is a badass too.
