The national sports media has definitely flipped on the issue, the Kiffin troll to Holly Rowe exposed Sankey for a petty little man with a short temper. In the end, it will be Louisiana's political clout that buries him. The threat of "lack of institutional control" is a gun he should not have loaded, it is now pointed at his inflated head. The threat to expel LSU from the SEC was absurd, I can't imagine what was in his mind when he headed down that path.

Sankey has succeeded in making Lane look like the restrained reasonable one in the fight, that takes a special kind of stupid. That menopausal maniac at UTk egged him on, now it's going to get him tossed out of his Garden of Eden.

I know that some schools think of the Birmingham office as their personal little playground, snap fingers and the right buttons are pushed. If the NCAA wants to ever sniff getting anti-trust legislation through Congress, I suggest they ask the right people for help.

Maybe the SEC office would look good in Shreveport.
