Well, considering his backup QB is throwing for 300 yards on LSU and looking good doing it, I would say Trask is helping his reputation.

Franks has the height, weight, and better understanding of what Mullen’s wants. To me it seemed that Franks was trying to win the game on every single play, which led to him pressing and ultimately making mistakes, dumb mistakes. He just found a way to frick it up.

I don't necessarily disagree with this, but a big part of Franks is his fragility. Very weakminded individual who put a lot of attention in things that ultimately did not matter.

Trask may not be as big or have a grasp of all of the pre snap reads

Trask is infinitely better at pre-snap than Franks. You have to be good at pre-snap reads if you're throwing like he is with a limited (almost non-existent) rushing attack.

Well considering we had two players who picked up your running back leaving a huge hole in the back of the endzone for an easy completion, I would say that that has something to do with scheme.

That's a levels concept that LSU uses frequently.
