Of course his seat is not hot, but I do think many of his mental lapses and terrible timing for meltdowns has put him in a position where he has not built the clout and safety net typical of someone with 2 SEC titles and a national title.

does les miles have a leash
I know he has a NC under his belt, but one still has to question his game decisions. Poor clock mgmt in the past, booing from the fans 2 years ago during Tenn game and losing to Ole Miss. We all know about title game last year, is his seat warm in the slightest?
So he's made poor or questionable clock managment decisions in 3 games: Auburn 2007 (win)
Ole Miss 2009 (loss), and Tennessee 2010 (win).
Three (3). 3 out of NINETY THREE games he has coached. 93 games in which he has won EIGTHY PERCENT of them - 75.
I noticed you had to go back TWO and THREE years ago to find these little nuggets of yours.
Where were these problems last year when LSU outscored 13 reg. season opponents 500-138, scored 40 or more points EIGHT times, and beat everyone but Alabama by at least 2 touchdowns?
Are you REEEEEEEALLLY that dumb ???

Yes. He also has a rack and whip. Mr. and Mrs. Miles are big into that scene.

Like say, Urban Meyer?

Or Saban, for that matter.

maybe it's just me but I don't know what having a leash and your job being in jeopardy have anything to do with each other? I'm not understanding your analogy...

so basically, after 8 years, he will have 4 West Titles, 3 SEC Titles, 3 BCS Bowl wins, 6 overall bowl wins, and 2 National Titles...and will likely be 89-18.....yeah, I see your point....lol.
In contrast, after 6 years, Saban will have 2 West Titles, 1 SEC Title, 2 BCS Bowl wins, a 2 national titles. Now that is clout.

You really want to compare Saban and his clout at Alabama or Meyer's former clout at Florida to the clout Miles has built up at LSU? They are not even comparable.
Meyer and Saban are or were heroes on campus. Miles is doubted and bashed every year by his own fans.

this is every coach at LSU every year unless it's a NC season.

So we are going to just assume then that Miles will win the west, SEC, national title, and a BCS game next year while assuming Saban will not win any of those. Cool.

My point remains. He is not loved, trusted, and respected by his fan base in the way that other coaches with his record are at other universities.

90% of LSU fans love him.
Noone sucks off their own like yall do though, so in that regard, he isn't loved as much as Saban.

"By his own fans" Wrong. Maybe 10% at most.
And by "his own fans" you mean """AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL"" of them ??????
How the phuck do YUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
know? Have you interviewed all the millions of LSU alumni and fans across the globe to justify your monumentally stupid comment ????????
Typical Monticello trashing, whoring, bashing, and trolling.
Not surprised.....
