That's a stupid comment, i'll admit. But in all fairness, LSU hasn't caught up with Bama either. As long as we compete then I'm happy.

Arky is on the up. They'd give the big Texas league (preexpansion) hell..

Since we went to 12 teams in 1992 LSU has more SEC Championships (4 to 3) and one fewer NC (2 to 3) than Alabama. Obviously Bama was a lot better in the 90s and overall LSU has been a lot better since 2000
Both trail Florida since 1992 - Florida has 7 SEC Championships and 3 National Championships in that time frame
Arkansas seems like an improved program under Petrino but they are obviously o-fer for NCs and SEC Championships since joining the SEC

Just do not respect your football coach--at all. Otherwise I don't think any differently about Arky than I would any other school.

We have to be talking about present day to put Arkansas ahead of Auburn. I'd still trade our previous 2 seasons for their NT from 2 seasons ago. I think it will be Bama, LSU, Arkansas/Auburn for a long time to come. I made peace with that. All I care about is stepping up to play in the BCS and SEC titles now and then. We aren't as close to LSU as some Arkansas fans like to think, but we aren't as far behind as some LSU fans think.

Not really. BP is our current coach. Mizzou hasn't played Bama for 30+ years. Actually, BP vs LSU is a good indicator of where he is taking the program. It's the best one you have.
