I think each teams does.

The talent level at both schools is a virtual
deadlock and both coaches have enjoyed so much
success that mutual respect is merited from both sides.

Participants have won three of the last 5 NC's and this year will likely make it 4 of 6.
It is the Game of the Year annually now.

If both teams aren't playing too tight, I want whatever they're drinking.

Mel Kiper apparently believes LSU is a more talented team than Alabama.

Well if Mel Kiper says it, it must be true.

Bama has celebrated had how many consecutive number 1 recruiting classes? And now, you're trying to use the argument that LSU is more talented?? Give me a damn break.

We heard this last year from you Bama fans, and we also heard it in 2010 from Bama fans. Why is LSU so much more talented when Saban has brought in nothing but top recruiting classes?

Alabama plays close games with LSU because LSU is one of the only teams (if not the only team) on their schedule recently with just as much talent as the Tide.
