yes. it will be very close. mullen will look at what cam did last year to the lsu defense, and call a very similar game. i see it going down to the 4th quarter. 31-28 LSU

I could not agree more; hell, people try to say Les is lucky. I think Chiz' luck is stronger. Clemson has not played anyone.
Exactly. So why are they favored over the defending natty champs who just beat a ranked MSU team? IDK, but it's weird and I don't like it. So i'm taking the weird bet going against the public
ND by 10? Not sure what you are seeing there beyond being at home.
I hate ND as much as the next guy, but in reality they are pretty good and should be 2-0. I think they roll in this game, they line is low b/c if it was -10 everyone would load up on MSU
I guess I can see how you think MSU covers. Good luck
Again, weird that LSU is only favored by 3 IMO. I love home dogs on Thursday nights in general, and again the public is all over the LSU bet.
When everyone is saying that way too low, bet the farm, I run as far in the other direction as possible
And i bet LSU against Oregon FWIW

relf is damn good.but not nearly as good as Cam....he was pulled in LY game against LSU and the LSU line is better this year.
he is going to get at least 100 on the ground. well OK then!![]()
At least hubb put money on his...then again, I have not heard him go THAT far out on any limb.
ETA: I hope they try to run Relf 25+ times. If they do, it will be a long night for MSU.

Really looking forward to playing HOGS this year...my dislike for them is so high, that I will be pulling for the TIDE to kick your arse too...that would be for extra...so, until we play you in Nov.
Go Merlin's Grinder's,
Arkansas 31 - LSU 23

It should. That's what really has to bother you. The public is on LSU, the big money sharps are on MSU thus the minimal line movement.
Everyone and their dog will be on LSU by Thursday night. I would be worried if I was as LSU fan.
I honestly have the utmost confidence that Miles will somehow pull out a 1-2 pt victory and screw the betting public while also winning.

Not unless Lee throws a couple of Pick 6s and goes Jamie Howard on us.
But the Rantards assure me this is impossible.
Bet the farm on LSU.
Lock of the year.

Did you see the game last time LSU and State played in Starkville on a Thursday night?

That would be 2 years ago right? Yeah Im probably not gonna factor that into my reasoning on this game
ETA: Also, the Thursday night dog is just something I almost always bet. I'll bet a Sunbelt/MAC homedog w/o even really looking at anything. Just seems to cover

LSU on paper should have no problem with MSU, but this is the SEC and
- it's in Starksville (LSU barely got out with a W in 2009)
-State is coming off a tough loss
-If they lose they can kiss any remote chance of winning the SEC goodbye
-It's on Thursday night. Crazy stuff happens on those Thursday night games.

Interesting stat:
Against Oregon, LSU had 8 drives start inside their own territory. 1 out of the 8 LSU crossed midfield. They scored 27 points on drives that started in Oregon territory as well as a Special Teams touchdown. Oregon also outgained LSU in total yards.
Make LSU drive the length of the field and Miss St wins the game as LSU has won games the past 2-3 years due to FPA (Field Position Advantage) as a result of turnovers and special teams. Neutralize FPA and teams can beat LSU.
