Left LSU to go to Miami.
We had two coaches go the "NFL" route only to have one turn around and come back to college football coaching.
Almost seems like an easy out for coaches looking to bail on issues with their athletic department. Was that the case with Saban, or did he truly want to try the NFL?

You do know he was in the nfl from 88 to 94 right? He went to Michigan state and then lsu. Maybe at that time of his life he did want to go back to nfl
He was a defensive coordinator so he was up there already
