depends on which sport brah.

Look at how many football players Ole Miss has put into the NFL....MSU.....not near as much. Especially 1st round draft picks.

Wasn't this in a thread last week?
Ole Miss has one more player in the NFL than State.
No sarcastic here, but I think somebody did look that up

Cowbells are a part of Mississippi state tradition. You don't have to like it. Hell we don't care if you hate it. We love it and have pride in our universities traditions.

People were saying this about the flag at Ole Miss 15 years ago, but you would be hard pressed to find a fan who thinks that removing the flag from the stadium was a bad idea.

eli's hair:

Really? Football attendance smack on TigerDroppings?

Last season, State averaged 53,792 and OM averaged 55,767, a whopping 1,975 fans per game more. I hope the LSU/Bama/Auburn/Arkansas/Tennessee/Florida/Georgia/South Carolina/Kentucky fans are impressed by your attendance.

MSU averaged over 97% capacity and OM averaged less than 90% capacity. State had just one game less than 50k and OM had two, including one crowd with just 38k (and pictures show there weren't nearly that many).

You need to go back to bed.

The thing is, that the Flag and the Cowbell is nothing a like.

All yall have are cowbells and "Hail State", which is the worst of all fight songs easily. Enjoy your crappy traditions.

They're both absolutely embarrassing. The cowbell belongs once every four years in the Olympics and at Div. III sporting events. If you want to look like a DIII school, then be our guest.......but in the mean time, you're embarrassing the SEC with them.......just like we did with the flag.

And yes, the cowbell is inherently racist. As inelisha mentioned, they were used to call in the servents for chow time. And here you are, using them to call your African American football players. For shame.

I liked Hail State.

Hell, nobody outside Ole Miss really knows Ole Miss fight Song.
Hotty Totty is only thing I know about Ole Miss during games. And that is the gayest chant ever.
They took away your Rebel and Flags, seriously what does Ole Miss have during games anymore?

Incorrect. NJReb firmly believes that Ole Miss should traditionally be a top 10 team and that man-boy love is a beautiful thing.

Inelishaitrust just recognizes where we are in the pecking order of the SEC....mid-tier and looking WAAAAAAY down at MSU, Kentucky, Vanderbilt.

HAHA I have to agree with you on this one Pank, but Eli needs to understand cowbells dont win games, athletes win games. End of conversation.

Left field lounge is a pretty cool one. What do yall have? The gayest chant in the country? The walk of champions for a school that never wins a championship. Also, every school has one. Ok, what else?
