We have actually won regional and super regionals at Dudy Noble and advanced to the CWS.

Sorry man, you can't beat the atmosphere of a baseball game at Dudy Noble. I can't even describe the atmosphere when we beat Clemson in the super-regionals two years back. It was incredible.

It was in the 90s with a heat index near 100 on a 12noon first pitch and we still had that stadium PACKED, you cant beat that atmosphere ANYWHERE!

That is because you have a circus clown running your program with misfits without discipline... I guess you guys would bail out watching the basketball program... Also, hard to justify supporting a team that plays on a court named after a women's head coach
see, I don't even know who's running Tenn's basketball program and I don't know what Tenn's basketball court is named after. I just never gave a flying frick all along.
oh, and 25.

Met Emily while coaching a team we won a National Championship with- she was kinda an assistant for a Carrolton team we played against, stayed at same hotels at a couple.

She's really a sweet person too. Down to earth. I got her batting helmet autographed as one of my keepsakes in my trophy case, no panties though.

I think a big part of enjoyment of basketball and baseball in the SEC is the atmosphere at the venue. The atmosphere doesn't come until success.
At Arkansas, basketball games are HUGE when we are competitive. Its been that way since the 1970s. Barnhill was electric. Bud Walton is, when its close to full or over capacity.
With that comes a dedicated, knowledgeable fanbase. We have Arkansas basketball fans who have had season tickets for three generations.
Its sad we're losing that the last few years.
Same with baseball. A big part of the attraction to going to games at Baum is that its just a fun experience. The venue is badass. The gameday production is great. The fans care.
Without a good venue and good fans, its hard to get excited about any sport.

I've never watched a basketball game in person in my life. Ever. I'll watch the Barons during .25 hotdog night if I've got someone to go with and bored. The last time was about 6 years ago.

Im willing to put money down that Arkansas wins 5 or more SEC games. They looked really good vs Texas IMO. Yall have Fortson back now and he will be a difference maker. If Clark is hitting his 3s yall will be trouble at the Bud.
I hope you are right but I wouldn't read too much into the Texaa loss.
First, Texas didn't know Fortson was coming back.
Second, Arkansas beat both Oklahoma and Texas last year and still only won a couple of SEC games.
Third, our teams usually get up to play Texas. So do the fans.
