hen the replay officials sat down and looked at the replays, there was nothing there that they could use to overturn the call,

He's right. The call on the field would have stood up either way. No matter what the ref called, it would not have been overturned.

You couldn't tell shite from the replay angles.

There was clear video evidence that his left foot was down and in bounds at the time of the catch.

Review over. It was clear and everybody in the country saw it.

that's my issue. Alabama fans keep saying it doesn't matter, it doesn't matter.....

Maybe so, but rather than getting that CHANCE, the refs take it away from them. That is the main issue I have with it.

If there was anyway I could turn the clock back and give LSU that chance, I absolutely would do it.

Do you agree LSU got it's arse kicked in total yardage? Do you agree LSU had some stupid penalties they brought on themselves? Do you agree there was a penalty called on Bama that caused us to settle for a FG? Do you agree that having legs tangled twice called for incidental contact is a little unusual?

I am not. Every single camera angle that was shown to us on CBS lacked that "proof" that is necessary to overturn a call. It looked like he might have had a foot in, or two feet in, but then there's the "when did he have possession?" question that they were having to answer by looking at the video. Then they finally show an angle that would have showed exactly where both his feet were when he caught the ball, and the camera is too zoomed in to see Peterson's feet. It was simply too close to overturn just because it looked like he "might" have had a foot down or "might" have had one out of bounds.

I've been watching it over and over on secdigitalnetwork.com and there's not enough evidence on replay to change a call on the field. In my opinion.

this tOSU fan clearly saw an interception, FWIW.

I disagree. Every single camera angle clearly showed he had that left foot down when he caught the ball.

I'll change my opinion if you can show me a still shot that shows that he has possession with a foot in bounds. If there is not a still shot of the video, then the video surely didn't show it, and my point is proven.

The bottom line is that Bama executed better than LSU. We had some stupid penalties and some missed calls. We also had some major injuries. The officials did not help LSU out at all, but that alone did not lose the game. We just got beat, plain and simple. We have a much better team than I expected this year and will be a beast next season.

Basically, we have two or three Bama fans who think it wasn't an INT, or that maybe it was but there wasn't sufficient evidence to overturn.

The majority of Bama fans, all LSU fans, and any impartial fans agree....that was an INT.

BamaHSV, Superman...ya'll are in the minority here.

Sez you, and in a stunning turn of events, so did the refs. Maybe they forgot about the conspiracy?

I say the refs blew those calls.
