speaks volumes for his coach that he allows that. saban wouldn't allow one of his guys to punt the ball into the stands.

I'm sorry but that is a rediculous comment. What could Meyer do, run out there and block the punt?

When a player decides to pull something like that what is a coach supposed to do?

I don't blame Saban for the BAMA player that came into contact with the ref in the VT game.

Just a player doin something stupid is all.

are you kidding me?? spikes didn't do anything dirty there either. u don't know if he could see the ball or not. and that video didn't have game audio on it, you don't know when the whistle blew. play to the whistle bmyfag

and if anything, you video just shows the opposing team being dirty. moreno pushed him in the back. backfire 2.0

Moreno saw Spikes go after Stafford and saved him. If you think otherwise you're a delusional moron.

Also -- you could see every other player on the field stop playing and Stafford was bent over to pick up the ball. Are you implying that Spikes is deaf as well as classless/dirty?

Meyer is the ST's coach so maybe he could block the punt.

you're a fricking idiot who has obviously never played football before. if you are calling spikes "dirty" for that play, i probably shouldn't waste my time even responding to you....but, hook, line, sinker.

two guys who are engaged with each other can't and do not stop right away. regardless of where the ball is and/or the whistle, two guys engaged blocking and rushing don't stop immediately. there is often pushing even after the whistle. and of course moreno saw spikes go after stafford, that's his job dumbass. moreno didn't know where the ball was or stafford. once spikes turned his back, moreno pushed him.

that was the only dirty play on that video

i havent seen any of sabans players while at LSU or bama do something that retarded. so its pretty clear saban runs a tighter ship than urb.

Let me clarify.. Moreno saw Spikes go after Stafford after the play was over and Stafford was picking up the ball. It is childish and pathetic that you condone Spikes behavior, I hope you do not reproduce. Not only did Spikes try to throw Moreno down after the play he then turned around and tried to get in Staffords face.

Moreno was protecting his quarterback. Spikes was being classless and dirty, then tried to draw a flag.

To claim otherwise is delusional.

I remember an LSU cheap shot against a Florida player that ended his career.

losing to ulm has nothing do with dirty or not.

no player under saban would think of doing something like that.

now under a coach like leslie miles that doesn't run a tight ship you have players kicking balls and the same with urbs who lets douches do whatever they want.

So you're saying he couldn't see Stafford throw the ball despite being only 5 feet away and looking right at him? I mean I obviously can't prove he saw it, but it's highly unlikely that he didn't. He was either trying to get in a hit in on Stafford long after he threw the ball or drive Moreno into the ground for no football related reason. Both of those constitute dirty, thuggish play.

well, you answered my question. you have obviously never played football before and have very little football iq. if you think what spikes did on the play regarding moreno/stafford was "dirty" or "classless" you are a hopeless tool and very little will ever change that.

and if by getting pushed to the ground from behind was "attempting to draw a flag", i guess he is guilty as charged. the rolling around bit was a little excessive, but it was meant to humiliate moreno.....which was very successfull.

I wouldn't say that. We have had personal fouls and unsportsmanlike calls against us. I will say that those are likely paid for dearly at practice on Monday though.
