I think it's about using the scheme that makes use of the tools you have. If you have Manziel and a pair of all American offensive tackles, it works pretty well. If you have a Bigger-Than-NFL inside line and a Heisman quality running back, line up in the I and run up the middle. When you've got 2 or 3 really fast guys who are all almost good enough to be starting QB, try the wildcat....
