The Fulmer Cup was created because Fulmer had a bunch of great young men playing for him. Keep avoiding the obvious cheating with illegal cleats. This is where you retort that Urban is a scumbag and defend those 2 National Titles the vols have won in 125 years.

A Tennessee company "sends" illegal cleats to be used by a team who was coached by dirty arse Phil Fulmer despite the rule for length of cleats being over a decade old. You can believe what you want but using longer cleats on a wet field is not only and advantage but cheating.

Do you know why it was cancelled? The BIG was adding another conference game and an annual Pac match up thus the games got cancelled. Once expansion happened and the Pac challenge was cancelled. Tennessee didnt have the dates open but Ohio State scheduled better games to replace them.
