Wow. Somehow this feels like the lead up to Brian Kelly, when we were told Orgeron and Miles won titles, so it was a cinch that Kelly would. And "Kelly was the winningest coach in ND history, and he would have access to more talent and resources at LSU, and more support from administration.
It's good to be excited about a coach, but predicting miracles off the bat is unrealistic. Certainly it could happen, but it is unlikely. LSU fans come spilling over from the TigerRant every time there is a coaching change, then the good LSU fans that are her all the time are left cleaning up the mess left from all of the wild predictions made by casual jump in the mix fans make.
Hint: It's always better to remain quiet and crow after success than to brag and then have to suffer through ridicule if/when things don't work out as planned.

really impressed by the job CLK has done so far and by what he was able to do at om. He knows what SEC football is. CBK didn't.

Are you talking to yourself? No one here is talking about DeBoer, and the situations are not remotely comparable. The best Bama fans could be said to feel about DeBoer is "cautiously hopeful." LSU fans are all over this board proclaiming that Kiffin is about to go on a generational run.

Well I'm sure more than a few bama fans were thinking the same about DeBust.
Yeah, nothing wrong with a good conversation with yourself... and mine are usually a me, myself and I conversation. I usually end up telling myself to just stop talking and leave me out of it. But then I get pissed, walk away, and leave myself alone.
