Could be...these quatrains are always difficult to understand. Would agree with you if Bama was favored to win.

Doesn't fit when taken in totality with the other verses. Think it was thrown in as a red herring to confuse the Ole Miss followers equating it to the Grove on campus. I went with Orange grove.
