He has been thrown to 28 times?? Jesus did the qb even attempt a pass to another receiver?

Yea they literally throw every down. They have some other good WRs who have made some agile catches and TD's themselves. But face it he is a huge weapon and everyone is tuning into see him. The coach owes it to Espn to put on a show.

meh, he's on national TV, he knows people watching want to see a show and he's giving it to us. It't not like the game is that out of hand.

If that's where his priorities lie, that's fine. I just think that's pretty low class. But that's sports these days. Give 'em a show. Forget sportsmanship.

In all fairness using stats in this instance to describe his talent level is pretty ridiculous. H.S.-Shaquille O'neil could have had the same stats running these basketball routes against this weak competition.

He can run routes, if you ever seen him at a camp, you would know he can run routes.

doesnt look particularly agile diving out for balls and is not all that explosive

still raw running routes

All HS receivers are raw running routes.

Don't see that at all.

not all that explosive compared to other collegiate greats

Once again, don't see that at all.

The only things I thought were "bad" for him tonight were raw routes on the quick outs and catching balls with his body a few times, dropping passes that hit him in the hands.

To be honest, the only good players on Hillcrest are Dorial and Darnell Green-Beckham, and Darnell can't play this year.

In reality, he is very raw since he doesn't play the greatest players. He's gonna have a huge jump playing against college DBs, more of a jump than many other top rated WRs.

I saw Julio many times in person in HS, and to me JJ looked more impressive than DGB, considering Julio played legit competition. No slight to DGB at all, he just looks more raw than I thought he would

Nope its pretty obvious if you watch the game, fair assessment too. No reason to get all butthurt about a playter going to OU anyhow.

I don't think DGB is that explosive type of guy like Julio or AJ Greene, but not fair to say until I see him in game where he is pushed.

Than Julio? They are equal at best. Julio was much more explosive IMO and much faster. DGB is just taller

This was a 3A vs 5A game. He doesn't ALWAYS play this level of competition.

I agree, but I was talking about just sheer athleticism

Dropped a couple of balls and had to cradle catch another one with his body that he should have caught easy. He has shown great hands on a lot of other plays and has reached down low and snag balls, but just like JJ had some complete drops.

You were like 14.

Of course he is raw, all HS players are raw. Don't let Seneca fool you, yea they suck this year, but they usually are pretty good and Hillcrest plays alot better teams than them. They get alot tougher test in a few days in Rogers Heritage, but lets not act like DGB doesn't own every team.

Besides, Seneca is 3A, compared to Hillcrest 5A.

DGB is 6'6" 225 and is the fastest man in Missouri. That's not bad.

I didn't see Julio play in HS so it's hard to compare for me, I just know DGB is raw like most HS players

Not bad at all. I still think he's the best WR prospect in this class. I just think Julio was better
