Believe they are trying to get him back on normal schedule to start a Friday game in a regional -- thus throwing him Friday this week and probably feel like they can beat Alabama with their #5 guy... Seems like a pretty good move to match Wahl up with LSU or Arky at this point with them jumping out to the early lead...

Tupelo, I think Bama scoring that run goes back to your fielder Jamison? being unable to get to that previous fly ball. ( he does a fine job and most outfielders couldn't get to that ball, but LSU has two super fast players in the OF who could, Laird and Stevenson.
They are not good at the plate, but that is the trade off Mainieri makes, much to the chagrin of some fans on TR.
